New Zealand natives Like A Storm have announced the Didgeridoo Destruction Tour. Their seven-week headline tour support includes From Ashes to New, Stitched Up Heart and Failure Anthem. Tickets for the first nine initial dates go on sale Friday, October 9. The tour officially starts November 6 at The Machine Shop in Flint, MI and will run through mid-December. All dates can be found below.
As an incentive to attend one of their shows, Like A Storm are offering Didgeridoo Destruction Fan Hookups.
*Free Limited Edition Tour Patch: The first 100 fans through the door will automatically receive a patch. (Ltd. Edition patches are not for sale and are only available this way.)
*Spread the Storm and Save: Purchase 2 tickets in advance, for any headline show, and receive a 20% off voucher at the door for Like A Storm merchandise.
*Spread the Storm Grand Prize: The person that brings the most people to a particular show will win a free VIP Bus Hang Meet & Greet and will watch the show from the side of the stage. (The person that has the highest number of advanced purchased tickets, or the person that buys the most entries at the door each night is the winner.)
Released earlier this year, Awaken the Fire, has been well received by fans everywhere and continues to produce chart-topping singles. Most recently, their hit single Become the Enemy cracked the Top 25 at rock radio. The video for the single shows the band playing while surrounded by fire as there are no stuntmen or computer effects. “Making this video was one of the most insane experiences of my life! We had this crazy idea to set everything in the video on fire—including our didgeridoo, guitars and drums,” says Like A Storm vocalist/guitarist Matt Brooks. The video was directed by longtime collaborator Chris Fisher, whose previous work with the band produced the multi-million viewed Love The Way You Hate Me video.

Recently referred to by Slash/Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy as “the hardest working band in rock”, Like A Storm is regarded as one of the most prolific new acts out there. The Brooks brothers— Chris Brooks [lead vocals, guitar, didgeridoo, keys/programming], Matt Brooks [vocals, lead guitar, keys/programming], and Kent Brooks [bass, vocals, keys/programming]— came to the United States knowing no one, and have built a dedicated fan-base through their non-stop touring. Drummer, Zach Wood, rounds out the line up.
